Is there a scientific point of view?

Should the study of philosophy be supported by scientific knowledge? How much do our conclusions about the world relate to the hard facts? A rather concrete and touching question, are these two parallel lines, if I'm right, science developed following Greek philosophy, perhaps because it needed it? I read a quote from Rabbi Adin, that discussing theological questions from a scientific perspective is like discussing physical facts from a shoemaker's perspective. I would be happy to answer, I won't bother you, I would be happy to refer to your letters. And thank you for your work and writings.

Too general a question. It is clear that in order to discuss the world, one needs to be familiar with it. But not necessarily with scientific knowledge, at least in what goes beyond the popular. It is true that there are questions that are difficult to discuss without scientific knowledge (such as the question of causality, randomness, etc.). Sometimes it is not knowledge that contributes, but rather the way of thinking and intellectual skill.
