Karaut
Hello Rabbi,
Why are the Karaites wrong? There is no mention of Toshab'a anywhere in the Torah.
And the entire Torah can be understood in this way alone, so that the simple understanding is probably the intention of the Torah.

Who said they were wrong? You have to form a position yourself.
If you ask why I don't read, a tradition has come down to us that includes Toshabeh. The fact that it is not mentioned in the Toshabek is not really difficult in my opinion, since a work is not supposed to mention the rules of its interpretation. You don't expect any book to add a dictionary at the end with the interpretation of the words mentioned in the book, nor the interpretations of the book. These naturally accompany it and not within it. Without Toshabeh, you won't be able to understand many verses. Toshabeh doesn't necessarily take the verse out of its literal sense, but rather teaches how to interpret it.

If that's the case, why assume that there is a Toshba? I think the only reason is because the one who gave us the Torah also included the Toshba in it. Not for any other reason. I wanted to ask the rabbi if there are other reasons.

Rabbi:
Tradition has handed down to us the Toshvet. If you believe it – believe it, and if not – then don’t. I don’t understand how the Toshvet can be incorporated into the written Torah. When it is incorporated there, it will be in writing and not orally.

If so, I would be happy if the rabbi could enlighten me on the fact that it is not possible to interpret the Toshchak without the Toshchaa in matters of halakhic, of course.

Rabbi:
I have already written twice and I am writing again now. So here it is for the last time. The Toshba's Law has no basis in Scripture because it cannot have a basis in Scripture. What does that have to do with its truth? Modern physics also has no basis in Scripture, and yet I do not deny its truth. Even the fact that the chair I am sitting on is comfortable has no basis in Scripture. What is the point of a bed for an omelet?! I have already written that in my opinion it is impossible to interpret the Toshba's Law without the Toshba's Law. Occam's razor is a tool for choosing the simplest among theories that explain all the facts. In my opinion, your theory is not like that, and therefore its simplicity means nothing. Classical physics is simpler than quantum physics, so why not adopt it because of Occam's razor? Tradition did not convey to us that there are ghosts. That is how people once thought, and today I think differently. They did not convey this to me as information from God.
