King Solomon
- Shalom Rabbi, King Solomon had many wives contrary to the Torah's command. The preachers, to the best of my understanding, offer explanations for why he did this (diplomatic relations, the correction of nations, etc.) but ultimately do not really answer the simple question: Why did Solomon violate the law? What made him choose to go against the divine command? In Judaism, Solomon is accorded a place of great honor. He is seen in our eyes as a great righteous man who achieved high spiritual achievements.
- And his books were included in the Bible.. I would be happy if the rabbi would answer me.

The greater his friend, the greater his desire. What is wrong with the simple fact that Mikra failed and gave in to his evil desire?
Furthermore, the Gemara itself says that the great man of the world (=Solomon) said, "I will multiply wives, and my heart will not turn aside," and his heart turned aside. In other words, the Sages themselves explain that Solomon failed because the Torah wrote the reason for the prohibition of multiplying wives (he will not multiply wives, and his heart will not turn aside) and therefore he demanded a reason for reading.
