Legumes in the era of Corona
Peace and blessings!
Unfortunately, today we were informed that the High Court of Justice declined to oblige the Chief Rabbinate to pass the year, thereby making it easier for the people of Beit Yisrael who are having difficulty preparing for Passover during the Corona crisis:

There are no judges in Jerusalem.
I would like to ask the Rabbi for a halachic ruling that will make things easier for our brothers in the House of Israel during these days.
As is known, the consequences of the pandemic are affecting factory operations, and could lead to a shortage of basic products, or their price increasing significantly. This is especially true with regard to the price of handmade matzah, which is expected to cost a fortune.
I would therefore like to request that the eating of legumes be permitted as a temporary provision on Passover, as the sages of the past permitted as a temporary provision in times of hardship and distress, thereby reducing the costs of feeding families blessed with children during the holiday.
What does the Rabbi think???
