Passover Matzah and Maror
Hello, Honorable Rabbi, there is a disagreement between Hillel and the Sages regarding the manner of eating the bittern. Should he combine the bittern with the matzah and the Passover and eat them together, or does the verse only teach about the time of eating the matzah and the bittern, which are to be eaten when the Passover is eaten? I wanted to ask whether in their opinion (both Hillel's and the Sages') besides the mitzvah of eating matzah, which is taught from the verse: In the evening you shall eat matzah, there is also a mitzvah to eat matzah, while there is a sacrifice, from the verse: Fire-roasted and matzah on bittern, he shall eat it, or does the second verse refer to the matzah about which we are commanded from the first verse. And in the opinion that these are two different mitzvahs, is it possible to fulfill the obligation of both during the Temple by eating a handful of matzah, according to both the Sages and Hillel, or does he have to eat a handful for each person?
Thank you very much and Happy Passover!
