question
Peace and blessings
You explained in your books that the Sages do not have authority over facts/reality, and you explained in your article on "chalot" that chalot meant a reality that exists not in the physical world but in the spiritual, i.e. an idea. And according to the Rabbi's words about apparent authority, wherever there is chalot, the Sages did not have authority, because it is a matter of fact whether such an idea exists or not, and why do the Sages have more authority than I do regarding facts?

If you disagree with them factually (in your opinion there is no halath, or it looks different) then there is nothing wrong with that. But still the practical teaching can oblige you to act not according to your metaphysics. It is not like commanding you to believe in the coming of the Messiah.
