The commandment of faith
Hello,
Regarding the commandment of faith, I understand that it is not possible to command a claim of fact, and therefore, apparently, there is no commandment of faith.
I just wanted to understand how God commands us anyway with the first commandment.

Who said that the first commandment is a mitzvah? Maybe it is just an address/introduction before the commandments? And for Maimonides to count it, it is indeed difficult. Indeed, this is what is meant in Mat 23, that "I will not be, and I will not be" are two mitzvahs that we heard from the mouth of the mighty, and Tsa.
