The cosmological view and spontaneous generation
In your first published book, you present as a challenge to the cosmological view a situation in which a particle is created spontaneously. You reject the challenge by saying that despite the spontaneous creation, the event still occurs within the framework of conservation laws.
The difficulty I have with this is that the question has essentially moved from the philosophical to the scientific realm. One can imagine a world in which a particle is spontaneously created and the laws of conservation do not hold. In such a situation, have we refuted the cosmological view?
