The Rabbi's Approach to Other Vegetables

שו"תThe Rabbi's Approach to Other Vegetables
שאל לפני שנה 1

Hello, Your Honor!
In the Rabbi's column on the song "Even Better," the Rabbi spoke about connecting with the song "Eli Eli Lema Ezbetani" and the like in a somewhat mocking manner.
My main question is, after all, not all of Israel can be like the rabbi and many who follow his path (and the path of the Rambam), which is a path of intellectual understanding and investigation. After all, many of Israel are not exactly geniuses, it is precisely the poetry of Eli Eli that uplifts the spirit and brings them closer to serving God. Like the idea behind the parable of the Ben Ish Chai about the story of "These and those are burned in the house of the dunghill," there is no one way to worship the Holy One, and why should we disdain the way of others?

I wasn't being disrespectful, but rather I was showing that when people sing they don't think about the words. And so it was with Didan's song. On the contrary, it was a defense, not a criticism. And it has nothing to do with genius, but with attention.
