A fact with my father and grandfather
You have already written many times that the sages have no authority regarding facts, and therefore we are not bound by their determinations regarding facts.
Why don't you extend the rule to the halakhic principles themselves? After all, when my father and grandfather argue about the law of the Torah (at least in some of the laws of the Torah), the argument revolves around what God, the Blessed, said to Moses. God's statement to Moses is also a fact that is measured in terms of truth and falsehood, whether he said it or not. Why, in such a case, do you think that the sages have authority?

Because the debate is not about what God said. He said neither this nor that. The question is what is right to do in light of what God said. It is not a factual question. Incidentally, this question was discussed in my article on the myth.
