Belief in God is not a scientific claim
Peace, Your Honor,
You wrote in your book "The First Statement" in the introduction that belief in God is not a scientific claim, because it cannot be put to an empirical test, since "try to think of an experiment that, if it fails, would force us to abandon belief in God."
What about the next experiment, at some future point in time the computational power of the scientific world will increase to the point where we can create some environment and decide that a certain thing happened in it without a cause. This would contradict the principle of causality and fulfill the belief in God, which is its generalization. Obviously, this is an experiment that will not happen soon, but theoretically it is possible.
