Did the concept collapse, and was there an alternative?
Have a good week!
L1 – Throughout history, they seemingly tried all the options: they tried to give them territories and yet they left them a flourishing region, Hamas grew in Gaza. They tried to reach agreements on almost most of their demands (Barak and more), and it turned out that there was no one to talk to. They gave Gaza to the PA and it turned out that their culture did not allow it.
So, did Bibi have another option besides not allowing Gaza to collapse economically and thus have an uprising supported by the world's understanding? In other words, this was the last option to postpone the end and, at most, build on the IDF.
And more than that, there really wasn't an option to occupy Gaza, if only because the world wouldn't allow it and we didn't have legitimacy. So, what was the option other than allowing the money to come in?
2- In essence, I believe that there will never be a solution unless the moderate Arab countries, together with international backing, take responsibility for Gaza and uproot the education that demands the destruction of Israel. Therefore, we will forever be forced to live on our swords with the dialectic of bringing in money, etc. What does the rabbi think?
