Haredim and conscription

I haven't really been able to understand what you think about the main claim of the Haredim (which they don't make publicly, but this is the real reason) that a general conscription of the Haredim would completely dismantle the Haredi DNA, which is based on separatism, and thus destroy the world of Torah and spirit in the Land of Israel. My question is, in your opinion, is the claim incorrect, or is it correct but you are not interested in it because you have to conscript?
