The hedgehog or the fox?

Isaiah Berlin's observation about the hedgehog and the fox is famous – "The fox knows many things, but the hedgehog knows one big thing." More generally, there are thinkers and philosophers who see the issues at hand through a one-dimensional lens (analytic-synthetic :-)), and there are thinkers who draw on a wide range of disciplines. Even professionally – Zvi Yavetz used to say – there are those in academia who take one topic and 'stitch' it together in every way, while others deal with several topics simultaneously in a broader (but less meticulous) way.
In your opinion, in the final weighing, do you think one has a decisive advantage over the other? I am aware that this is a broad question and that there is merit in each method, but do you have any insights on the matter? And another relatively personal question: Do you define yourself as a fox or a hedgehog in this context? That is, it is quite clear that you are an extreme hedgehog, but at the same time a not-so-small fox… a hedgehog-fox…
