The nature of the skill to identify the prescriptive

שו"תThe nature of the skill to identify the prescriptive
שאל לפני 4 שנים

Peace and blessings,
I recall that you wrote in several places in your books about 'prescriptive sentences' that motivate a person to action (do you remember where?). This category relates to the nature of aesthetic or ethical value judgments that are not essentially neutral (but 'colored' with some kind of charge).
I am currently working on these issues, and I wonder if you can direct me to places that have written about this from a philosophical and therapeutic perspective. That is, I am also looking for discussions about the nature of this skill. Is there a professional term for a person who lacks this ability? Can this disability be mapped in the brain?
Best regards,

As far as I remember, on the fourth day of the first conversation between the first and the second, a human being is like hay. The motivation I'm talking about is not psychological but philosophical-ethical. These are sentences that are supposed to motivate a person to action, but don't necessarily do so in practice. If you are still interested, you can search online.
