Shabbat Nutricon Shabbat Eggs (Onions) Eat
When I was a kid, on Saturday morning we ate egg and onion salad.
My parents thought there was serious sanctity in this particular food on Shabbat because Shabbat is a holiday, so eat eggs on Shabbat.
Are they right?
(Perhaps once during the austerity period this was a rare and prestigious dish?)
Or as I saw Rabbi 1 wrote that one should eat delicious food on Shabbat. And whatever 1 tastes good to him?
(Apart from some principle that you should eat something hot during the day rather than something hot at night)

Sounds like trolling, but I'm not sure.
There is no holiness in any food of any kind (except for the parts eaten in sacrifices and offerings). Eat what you like. Like the saying goes, for the pleasure of Shabbat, you should eat delicious things. And there is no principle for eating stew. It's about the same as the principle for eating onions and eggs.
