Sexual desire

Greetings to the Rabbi, I wanted to know what the correct way is in the work of virtues. I am a person in whose life sexuality occupies a large place and I feel that it is not in my best interest in some cases and that it causes me to be excessively preoccupied with sexual desire to the point of contemplating my past. I don't really know what to do to improve my virtues in the matter of sexuality and the like.
PS I am happily married and don't feel like I'm missing my wife, but despite this I still seek to fulfill my desires.
