Question
Has the Rabbi read Rabbi Yosef Kellner’s books The Criterion for Truth, the Criterion for Morality, Like a Lion He Rises, and The Splendor of the Terrible Ice? If so, what do you think of the doctrine laid out there?
And more generally, what is the Rabbi’s view of Rabbi Kellner’s approach, since although he is counted among the “Kav” camp, he is certainly not a typical Kavnik who puts fear of thought on a pedestal and avoids the study of general knowledge in breadth and depth?
Answer
I haven’t really read them. I read a few things of his and very much didn’t like them. He is very dogmatic and extreme, and in my opinion he doesn’t really understand the subjects he writes about, and therefore he is not precise.

And that’s without even reading the books and understanding how they say, “whoever disqualifies others probably does so because he himself is disqualified”—apparently, Your Honor doesn’t understand the subjects he writes about either, and therefore is not precise.
I have never read such a shallow answer.
You can disagree with Rabbi Kellner, but to write that he doesn’t understand the subjects he writes about… that’s a joke.
