Q&A: The Flying Spaghetti Monster
The Flying Spaghetti Monster
Question
True, the monster is satirical, but there is something real underlying it. It supposedly meets the criteria for God, yet it still seems absurd to everyone. What is the difference between them?
Answer
Please define the question. The difference is that one is written with an s (spaghetti) and the other with an a (God).

The non-noodle monster is already long past its sell-by date

One can say that the “teapot” is an image for prayer, which warms the heart and refreshes a person, in the spirit of “May this hour be an hour of mercy and a favorable time before You.”
Noodles are made from grain, which expresses knowledge, for a child says “Daddy” and “Mommy” only after tasting the taste of grain. But knowledge can bring a person to non-noodleness, to a perception of a fixed and alienated world, in which “what was is what will be.”
However, when knowledge is saturated with faith and hope, strengthened through the work of prayer, which is like tea that warms and refreshes, then the cold knowledge and the “non-noodle” become “spaghetti” that has absorbed tea, and then it has the power to straighten a person’s path properly. When knowledge is properly saturated with faith and hope, it can become “macaroni” that radiates light to the world.
And as is known, the root of “prayer” is p-l-l. “To pray” means “to fill oneself with hope,” to charge oneself with faith and hope.

If the Flying Spaghetti Monster’s deficiency is that it begins with s, then the Noodle Monster starts with a 🙂
