I’ve been asking myself for many years what drives people like him to enter our wonderful world.
Sorry for the condescension.
What’s the meaning of this?

Is he being provocative?

Is he stupid?

Did he think before he pressed the keyboard?

What went through his head?

What was he trying to achieve?

I understand him; this could interest people for two legitimate reasons.

A. I want to read books by great Talmudic analysts, and since there are many books, and I value Rabbi Michi’s judgment, his answer could help me know what to focus on.

B. As someone who reads Rabbi Michi a lot, mainly in areas that are “not Talmudic-analysis-oriented,” I’m curious about his influences in subjects where I also understand something about the field (Talmudic analysis) — just like asking a musician who his favorite artists are…

The decision not to answer is legitimate; the disparagement by the second commenter… less so.
