Hello Rabbi,
What do you think about allowing open questions to be asked on the site, like a kind of forum?
At the end of the day, I’d be happy to hear the opinions of the people who read the site in general and on a wide range of topics.
For example, book recommendations, political positions, opinions on career-related issues, etc.
In my opinion, this community has the potential for really fruitful discussion.

I didn’t understand. All the questions are open and everyone can respond. The first response just has to be mine. As for book recommendations and the like, I don’t see the point of spreading out in every direction. This isn’t a general forum. Anyone who wants one can set up a forum.

I’ll add one more thing, following the last post: if the Rabbi wants to promote a new identity, maybe it wouldn’t hurt to broaden the variety of questions being asked on the site. In my opinion, that would help a community take shape. Similar to a WhatsApp group, but a bit more formal.
As a matter of fact, the Rabbi did once set up a forum here on the site, but it was closed because nobody responded there.
More precisely, if I remember correctly, there were only a single-digit number of responses.
There was someone here who set up something for matchmaking.
I can pass the question on to Oren the editor about whether it’s possible to set up such a forum within the site, but I won’t be involved in it. I don’t know how effective it would be, but we can try.
There is a WhatsApp group, Beit Midrash, and that’s a place for discussions and questions like these.

There are questions I’d be glad to ask people on a forum that just don’t really belong being directed to you.
For example: “Do you regret having been exposed to some of the Rabbi’s content even though you were convinced by it?”
Ever since I read the chapter in the second book that deals with prayer, my patience for prayers has run out. I pray by myself much more and invest much less.
Do you think questions like these have no place in a forum? They could never be asked on any other forum.
And if they do have a place, does it make sense for the Rabbi to answer first?
