Hi, this is my first question and I didn’t find any rules here about what is allowed to be asked, so I’m asking here… The questions are for the Rabbi only, in principle.
- I’ve seen that people sometimes ask you whether you’d be interested in meeting and/or discussing and debating with various thinkers, and atheists in particular. Is that something that could generally interest the Rabbi? Or do you always refuse those kinds of offers?
- Is there any limitation on what may be asked? Other than the categories I saw when opening a question, and any topic you write about on the site?
- I understood that it’s allowed to ask about your views on topics you write about and that appear in the list of categories. Right? Or do you prefer that people ask about your personal thought and your knowledge in topics you’ve studied?

- Each proposal is considered on its own merits. Such debates are usually pointless. Entertainment for the masses. That doesn’t interest me. If someone genuinely wants clarification, many people come to me for conversations.

I mean someone who wants to talk with me in a meeting or by phone. A public debate event or argument is usually pointless, although I’ve done a few of those too.
