A. Does knowledge of mathematics help in studying the Talmud? Obviously it helps sometimes; the question is whether it can really cause a person to understand a passage better than someone who does not know mathematics at a high level, and so on.
B. Which tractate would be worthwhile for someone with a master’s degree in mathematics to study?
