Q&A: Verbal Wronging
Verbal Wronging
Question
Hello Rabbi Michi.
How can one explain to students the prohibition of verbal wronging, which applies only to someone who observes the commandments? Babylonian Talmud, Bava Metzia 58a?
Answer
I assume you are not referring specifically to verbal wronging itself, since regarding all commandments between one person and another it is said that they apply only toward someone who “acts as your fellow.”
