Maimonides, at the beginning of the laws of forbidden sexual relations, writes:
One who has intercourse with any of the forbidden relatives mentioned in the Torah, intentionally, is liable to karet.
But this is difficult for me, because in the detailed list in Leviticus 18 (the Torah reading for Yom Kippur afternoon) it says: his son’s daughter, his daughter’s daughter, his father’s wife’s daughter,
and they do not appear in the list of the thirty-six cases liable to karet in the first Mishnah in Keritot.
