Q&A: A Logical Request
A Logical Request
Question
Honorable Rabbi, the site is very nice, but I would ask that all the posts be written in a slightly larger font and in more black than gray, as they are now. What do you think? Why are there no more bold headings with a prominent color? Aside from that, everything is fine.
Answer
Hello Moshe. You can control the font size from your computer. Ask people who understand these things and they’ll tell you.

The site is based on a preset WordPress design theme. Maybe you can increase the contrast in your screen settings to make reading easier (that should sharpen the distinction between dark and light colors). In any case, lately I’ve been working with Ofir to examine options for upgrading the site’s design.
Good luck—may God pay your full reward from Him, blessed be He. I hope you believe in providence in our times!
I did that, Honorable Rabbi, but what about the color? I’m not concerned only for my own eyes, but for other people’s eyes too. Just as the Torah was written in black, so too it would be preferable for everything to be written in black, since that stands out more.
It’s proper to beautify commandments; something attractive catches the eye better and makes you want to learn. What’s Oren’s angle? Why is he looking for reasons to stay in the gray range.
