I understood that in your book that I ordered, Truth and Untruth, you mention 2 interesting halakhic rulings:
– That the Ritva says that if, for example, I feed a person non-glatt meat and tell him that it is glatt, this does not involve “do not place a stumbling block”.
– The Magen Avraham rules that in order to convince a person of a settled point of Jewish law, it is permitted to say that the ruling was stated by an accepted halakhic decisor even if that is not so, solely in order to persuade him.
I would be very grateful if you could give me the sources so I can see them in the original.
