Electricity on the Sabbath
Question
Hello,
I wanted to ask the Rabbi why, in his view, electricity is forbidden on the Sabbath.
After all, it is not a primary category of labor.
If the Rabbi has written an article on the subject, I’d be happy to read it 🙂 And even if not [yet], I’m sure many people would be glad if the Rabbi wrote about this topic.

Answer
An ocean of material has been written about this, and I can’t elaborate on it right now. In general, your question is too broad. Electricity of an incandescent bulb? Of an electronic device?
You can hear a bit about it here:

I meant the electricity of an electronic device, not something that produces fire and so on, which in any case falls under one of the various primary categories of labor.
Thank you very much for the reference. In principle, it would be preferable if there were an article on the subject. It’s just hard for me to listen to a lecture, but in any case, thanks!
