Hello Rabbi,
I greatly appreciate the Rabbi’s view, if only for the reason that the Rabbi is thoroughly rational, while at the same time open-minded (which for some reason, unfortunately, usually doesn’t go together).
So, what does the Rabbi say about a séance? Is there anything real to it? On the one hand there is so much testimony, but on the other hand, come on…
Could the Rabbi elaborate a bit on the subject?

I don’t really have anything to elaborate on. I’m very skeptical about all kinds of mysticism, but I can’t dismiss it out of hand. For me to accept it, I’d have to see it with my own eyes, and even then it would be important to make sure we weren’t being fooled (there are magicians and illusionists who can convince you of all sorts of things. See, for example, Lior Suchard).
