Time

Question

With God's help,
Hello Rabbi,
I wanted to ask: what is time? We experience changes all the time, so seemingly time is a parameter that reflects those changes.
But what exactly is it? You surely have some understanding in this area. Seemingly, time is some kind of thing that the whole world is subject to, but as I asked here not long ago, modern science shows that it is relative to several parameters.
I assume this topic is a long one, so I’d be happy for a reference if you have a post here about it or something along those lines.
Wishing you a healthy winter season

Answer

I answered this. Where is it?

I didn’t answer this. That was a similar but different question.
In my opinion, time is not a parameter that reflects changes, but it is true that changes take place along the axis of time.
Philosophers have disagreed over whether time exists or whether it is only one of our categories (an object or a subject).
Modern science is not relevant to this issue, in my understanding.
As for going back in time and moving along it, see Column 33. In the fourth book of Talmudic Logic we discussed this at length, including the halakhic aspects.

Thanks,
I just saw that you answered a question similar to what I asked lol.
I’ll look into it more; I didn’t completely understand everything you wrote here. But at worst I’ll ask there.
