Q&A: It Is Torah, and I Need to Learn
It Is Torah, and I Need to Learn
Question
To the honorable Rabbi, may he live long and well,
After people have been digging around here with questions like: which songs the Rabbi likes, and what the Rabbi would do if it turned out he was a gentile — it seems to me we missed the main thing. Could the honorable Rabbi do a kindness for his students and admirers, and upload a video to teach us how one conducts oneself in fulfilling the commandment of conjugal relations?
With blessings,
Jacob Tzitz
Answer
It is Torah, and we need to learn it. True, I am not as expert as Samuel in "inclination"—forgive me, for my sins are too many to count—and therefore the matter is exceedingly difficult for me.
Discussion on Answer
It doesn’t seem low-level to me. On the contrary, it’s a sharp joke at the expense of the curiosity of the previous questioners.
They didn’t censor the Talmudic passage about Rav Kahana for being low-level.
Rabbi Michi, isn’t it appropriate to set some boundary for the level of discourse on the site, even when things are written sarcastically?
In my opinion, this question should be deleted, if only out of respect for the Rabbi, the place, and the readers.
