Has the Rabbi read Rett’s new book, Fantasy-Judaism?
If so, I’d be glad to hear a general critique of the surprising claims in the book. If not, I highly recommend it. It seems to me the Rabbi would find it interesting, even if he disagrees with it.
Answer
I haven’t read it. I assume it presents an idealist doctrine as a basis for faith. I’m really not in that direction at all.
I’d also be glad to see a more detailed response. If I may be so bold, I’d ask for a post.
