Science or Philosophy
Question
Hello Rabbi. I wanted to ask the Rabbi a question: assuming it is possible to understand how the human brain works and perhaps even predict every move, is there still any point in engaging in philosophy, or can science simply figure out what is best for us? Or perhaps philosophy can provide answers to questions that science cannot, and if so, to which questions?
Thank you very much.
Answer
I am not a determinist, and I believe in the judgment we possess, so I do not think that assumption is correct.
