Hi,
I saw that the topic of Yaron London came up in general, and here in particular. I looked into his past and saw other controversial things he did. I’ll focus on one of them.
During a program that he hosts together with Geula Even, he said that he was in an elevator, and a strange woman, dressed like a lawyer (it is not known whether that detail was meant to magnify his boldness or to add testimony to the propriety of the act), touched his “belly” and added, “It’s not the same anymore.” In response, he touched her breast and added, “This too is not the same anymore.”
Afterward, he clarified (on the program) that in his view the act was indeed an insult, but that it was equivalent to what she had done. And in his eyes the act had no sexual significance whatsoever. He brought as an example the supposedly negligible sexual significance, in Africa, of a woman’s breast.
 
Is his argument correct? After all, I assume that any person can examine, in an “objective” way, the existing norms and decide that they are not correct. There are many negative norms, but there are also positive ones (even if the individual has to sacrifice his desires).
Can all this practical pluralism not lead to total chaos?
