To Rabbi Michael Abraham, greetings. I read your response to the Messianics with interest, and now I saw that they responded to the articles on their site. Here is the link.
I wanted to know whether the Rabbi intends to respond to them.
If I may, there is one thing I disagree with the Rabbi about, and in my view it is very significant. In my opinion, many people are falling into the trap of the Messianics, and not only because of their videos full of hatred toward Judaism, but also because of their videos in which they try to prove that the New Testament is a continuation of the Hebrew Bible. There is no response to this. Unfortunately, it seems that the rabbis will realize that we have a problem here very late. Forgive me if I sounded aggressive; I’m just a simple, worried Jew.

I’ve heard from other directions as well that these videos really do have an impact. I’m not sure how effective articles on my site would be, since I don’t have the kind of publicity mechanism they do, and people don’t come to my site in order to read.
There is currently someone I know who is working on an organized response article to their claims.

Little by little I’m realizing that these Messianics are simply pathological liars. In almost every one of their videos you can find at least one lie. There’s one video of theirs that I saw, and I wanted to ask the Rabbi what he thinks. They talk about Rabban Gamliel’s test, where he seated two maidservants on a barrel of wine: if she had had intercourse, her smell would spread; if she was a virgin, it would not spread. (Ketubot 10b)
Two questions on the subject.
1. As far as I understood the Talmud, the maidservants were not seated there naked, but in their video they claim that the maidservants were seated there naked. I’d be glad to know whether they really were seated there naked, or whether this is just another Messianic lie.
2. Does the Rabbi know whether there is any medical basis for this test? Even if it is completely incorrect, that is, why did Rabban Gamliel in his time think this could work?

1. It can be interpreted either way. But even if so, what is the problem with seating them there naked? Doesn’t a doctor today also undress women in order to perform a medical examination?
2. In the past people believed all kinds of things. The Sages did not know medicine any better than the people of their time. What is the problem with that? Is the Talmud lacking scientific and medical errors?

First of all, thank you for the response.
Indeed, the videos do have an impact. I’ve taken it upon myself to learn video editing on my own, and soon, without making a vow and with God’s help, I’ll start making videos that expose their lies. I already have a list of several of their lies/distortions. With God’s help, we will do and succeed. I’d be happy if I could stay in touch with the Rabbi from time to time for consultation.
