I heard that at one point you had some kind of meeting / correspondence with the man. What do you have to say about him and about his method of learning, which is famously celebrated in the Haredi Lithuanian yeshiva world?
Answer
Not really. My booklet on migo (which is a summary and expansion of a lecture I gave in Bnei Brak to various listeners) was brought to him by the publisher, and he wrote comments and I replied (it appears there).
I do not really know his method of learning, aside from a booklet he published on Ketubot 19a (if I remember correctly). I read a significant part of it and did not agree. In particular, I disagreed with his critiques of Rabbi Shimon Shkop.
