Q&A: Warehouse Burners? Bringers of Destruction?
Warehouse Burners? Bringers of Destruction?
Question
There are many Israelis [most of them] who think that our security, or the demographic problem, takes precedence over this or that human right.
And therefore they will always support a law that prevents family unification between Palestinians and Israelis.
Since the law is problematic, it is valid only as a temporary emergency measure, which gets extended every year.
That has been the practice for 20 years.
Now, out of a political desire to embarrass the new government [and it is not even clear that this embarrasses the government more than the opposition…], many of the Jews joined the opposition and brought down the law.
The meaning: a security and demographic danger, and intermarriage [in a second-order circle].
A tremendous effort is made to bring Jews to the Land of Israel [with adaptation difficulties and no simple sacrifice], and it all looks like a joke in the face of the flooding in of Palestinians, all for dubious political gain.
To our disgrace, even the rabbis [yes, those who are really expert in the laws of hand-washing, examining witnesses, and a few other things…] did not condemn this [at any rate, most of them].
Isn’t this already within the realm of baseless hatred, which according to the Sages is why we were exiled from here for 2,000 years? Isn’t this really just like the burning of the storehouses by the zealots?
Am I seeing reality correctly? Or are my eyes deceiving me?
[There is the excuse: we’ll pass a Basic Law on immigration and the like. A. It’s a poor excuse—first of all, protect what already exists and don’t endanger everything. B. Apparently such a law has neither legal feasibility nor political feasibility. C. Whoever claims he’ll do it did not do it during 12 years in power.]
If the Rabbi has an answer that would put my mind at ease that we are not in some kind of internal baseless hatred—or even some sort of Berditchev-style charitable justification—that would really make me happy…
Answer
Obviously this is sheer wickedness with no explanation whatsoever. What is there even to discuss here? Bibism at its worst. I’m genuinely amazed at the rest of the clowns who joined this outrage. But this is not about baseless hatred; it is about lust for power and domination, and the interests of Bibi and his gang, and the stupidity of the others.
Discussion on Answer
Come on, come on, what drama, Mr. Upright Man. Nobody is as stupid and vile as you think. Breathe.
Why not drama?
Suddenly it has been revealed that the rabbis are corrupting and debasing the people down to the depths below.
Suddenly it becomes clear that the Sages did not lie when they said, “If one is not worthy, it becomes for him a potion of death”—our own eyes can see it…
Drama, very much drama…
In the Zohar it is written that before the Messiah, the lies will be exposed.
And here it is being uncovered before our eyes.
Drama, very much drama..
And where are the rabbis, who are supposed to be spiritual shepherds or figures or something a bit loftier than just answering poor little questions about the laws of hand-washing or the laws of clipping toenails?
What is their role amid the outrage being done to the Jewish people by those guys around Bibi?
