Q&A: The Eyes of Intuition
The Eyes of Intuition
Question
Hello Rabbi,
I was surprised to see in your book Truth and Not Stable the conclusion that we possess “the eyes of the intellect” in the form of intuition and awareness of material reality.
It is well known and widely accepted that intuition is a feeling that is generated accidentally in the brain as a result of some specific external radiation. But in any case, this is not a feeling connected to any truth in objective reality, so trying to find in it “the eyes of the intellect” is begging the question and complete nonsense.
Answer
Well, who can argue with solid, authoritative information that intuition is the result of external radiation?! Really, instead of discussing it, we should bring a Geiger counter.
