A Light unto the Nations

Hello Rabbi Michi.
In your view, what is the role of the Jewish people among the families of the nations? Morality? Values? Spirituality? Holiness? All of these exist among all nations. If so, what is the added value of Judaism that it should present to humanity, which does not exist among the other nations of the world? If the Rabbi could also give an example so that the matter will be clear, that would be very helpful. Thank you very much.

I do not know whether we have a role vis-à-vis the nations. We did have a role: to bring them faith and the Noahide commandments. Now that already exists to one degree or another (and I also do not really see that it exists among us any more than among them), and it does not seem to me that anyone intends to accept these things from us. At present, we are supposed to focus on our own conduct and not on being a light unto the nations. If we do become a light unto the nations, all the better.
