Interesting. I saw that Rabbi Halmish Gilboa summarized two opinions regarding the Barakel chicken:

But to put in a good word for Boris, one could say that there is some point in summarizing and saying that all the opinions are found among the halakhic decisors. That is no longer a tautology.
Beyond that, I was reminded of Zermelo’s theorem in game theory, which states that every chess-like game has one of three possible outcomes: a win for White, a win for Black, or a draw. They prove that theorem over the course of quite a few lectures, so go and learn from that for our case.
