Q&A: Anyone but Bibi
Anyone but Bibi
Question
Hello Rabbi,
What does the Rabbi think about the anti-Bibi boycott, especially in the current situation?
That is, it’s clear that it would have been better if the obsessive, corrupt, and failed man in power had been kicked out at rocket speed, but that isn’t happening, and he has a large cult of voters.
In the current situation, does your position on Bibi mean giving free rein to the Haredim and the messianists in such a horrific coalition—is that justified? Wouldn’t it be better to enter this coalition of horrors in order to air it out a bit? Or does the Rabbi think it is still worth maintaining the boycott in the current situation for moral, political, and other reasons?
Thank you
Answer
Possibly yes. But I doubt how much it would help. They have a coalition without the center, and therefore they are not dependent on it. They will not give up the Haredim, and beyond that, even within Likud there are elements that are no less bad.
