Question
What’s the interest in maintaining a site like this? Where does the money come from? How much influence does it have? Is there an organization behind it? Who pays the writers and for the servers? Is Rabbi Michael Abraham really the only one running the site, or is it a group of people presenting themselves under one name? How many people visit it?
Answer
There is no organization here at all. One person built it voluntarily and pays for the storage it requires. Its purpose is to convey certain messages and values, and to develop a critical sense toward religion and toward the world in general. As far as I know, only I answer questions here and write posts. I haven’t met any double hiding behind my screen name, but maybe I had some berserk episode and my mind was hidden away, and in the meantime my dybbuk wrote a post.
I haven’t checked how many people visit.
