With the advancement of AI, especially in the area of LLMs and foundational models, most AI researchers agree that it is only a matter of time until we develop artificial general intelligence that may perhaps even exhibit consciousness. In that case, would an artificial human be considered a person in every respect? Could it participate in a prayer quorum, would it be forbidden to kill it, and so on?

I very much doubt it. I am also not sure how we would know whether that is so or not. When we see it, we will be able to form an impression, and then perhaps discuss it.

How do you define consciousness? And when you say consciousness, what do you mean? Mind? consciousness? soul? spectrum? recognition? intelligence? wit?
Each word has a different meaning. Some of those meanings already exist in AI.
