I wanted to know what the Rabbi thinks about the views that the Patriarchs observed the Torah. (Abraham our forefather observed eruv tavshilin, Lot gave the angels matzot, etc.) ?

My opinion is that this is merely midrash. It shouldn’t be taken too seriously. At most it is a parable for something—and the devil knows what.
