Does the Rabbi know of, or think there is, a halakhic prohibition—regardless of considerations of military efficiency, what is advisable for women, health, mental well-being, etc.—against women enlisting in the army in a rear-echelon or combat role? The closest thing I’ve seen to a prohibition on this issue is a woman carrying a weapon, which is considered “a man's implement,” but all the leading later authorities (Acharonim) ruled that there is no problem with that.
