Yehoshua Inbal, a thinker or a Haredi propagandist?

I’m interested in the Rabbi’s opinion regarding the Haredi writer Yehoshua Inbal. I myself have gone through all of his books, and there’s no doubt that despite being a fairly extreme follower of the Chazon Ish, he is still groundbreaking as a Haredi thinker. Still, in the end his books give the impression of a “journey” along the routes of the “external books,” with the goal of cutting to the heart of the Haredi worldview. I’d be happy to hear whether the Rabbi knows him and his writings, and what his opinion of them is.

I don’t know him in detail, but I’ve read some of his things, and I also know him personally (not closely). He is a very intelligent person, with broad knowledge and a sharp analytical ability. What often bothered me about him was the apologetics—the attempt, by every possible route, to end up at the accepted worldview.
