Hello,
There are now all kinds of apps that let you skip ads on YouTube and also keep videos playing with the screen off, and so on.
Does the Rabbi think there is any prohibition involved in this?
It should be emphasized that this is not a matter of “cracking the software,” because they use their own app, but they created a kind of ad blocker that knows how to skip the ads.
 
Another angle to the question: if the ads on YouTube are immodest, is that a reason to be lenient, since they can’t require me to expose myself to ads like that?
