Q&A: Intuition
Intuition
Question
Sometimes I hear about cases that are presented in the context of Divine providence, where the probability of their happening is very low. Of course, it is hard to determine the exact probability of such events occurring, and therefore it is difficult to say with certainty that there was heavenly intervention. But intuition says: (a) that in probabilistic terms this certainly deviates from what should have happened; (b) it also says that this would not have happened just like that, and that there was intervention here [that is, even if this is a case with a reasonable probability (say 1%, for example), it still seems—because of its background, in that it is connected to doing God’s will—that there was heavenly intervention here].
A case in point, for example, is here, p. 8
Answer
I did not understand what the question is. I have already explained this more than once, and I have nothing to add.
