There is some logic to it. Think about how the West makes most of its money by robbing people in weaker countries,
so the white person needs to return to those countries the plunder they stole.

To the last commenter: you don’t know what you’re talking about. There were ugly phenomena, but the whole idea of growth is precisely opposed to the zero-sum-game way of thinking (“a pit is not filled from its own dirt”) that you are expressing.
