I read in the name of a certain rabbi who wrote that according to science, one can affect another person through thought alone* — to the best of your knowledge, do such claims have any basis at all in science? Do you perhaps know what this is referring to? Is it somehow connected to quantum theory?
*Of course, this is talking about two people who are far apart, etc., meaning through the power of thought alone.

There are all kinds of claims like this in the area of psychokinesis/telekinesis, but as far as I know there is no solid scientific confirmation for them. Connections to quantum theory and the like always come up as speculation, but I am almost certain there is no evidence for that whatsoever. The field is called parapsychology, and it is full of charlatans up to the brim.
